Nearly Frozen Fish Shenanigans (Part 1)

Location: Stocked Pond

Bait: Powerbait Eggs

Rig: Slip Weight Bottom Rig with Floating Bait

Started off with only a single egg to show that, even on a budget, you can catch lots of fish. The ice was a bit of a problem today. I had to slide the fish atop the ice in order to land them, then, once the hook was removed I had to toss them 8-10 feet just to get them back into the water. I tried to do both as gently as possible, as well as keep them out of the water for as short a time as possible.

Thanks for joining me on my fishing adventures. I hope to see you again next week.
