Beautiful Sunrise & Beautiful Rainbows
The stocked pond has some rainbow trout in it once again. I started out hoping to hook into some trout again and find the experience rewarding but not without its struggles. The weather has quickly turned cold, which seems to have made the fish a little fickle.

Panfish Save the Day
This was my second time at this pond, and it pulled through, just not how I expected. I was planning for rainbow trout but instead caught a handful of bluegill and a fingerling baby bass. Overall, the results were surprising but a lot of fun.
Tenkara for Lots of Baby Bass, the Conclusion
Finishing off at the stocked pond. With the biggest fish coming in at about 6 inches, we certainly aren't breaking any records. Despite their size it is still fun to see such small fish be so aggressive. Ends up being a fun little day of fishing.

Tenkara for Lots of Baby Bass, the Beginning
Started out at Kleiner Pond fishing for sunfish, but after almost 2 hours of fishing, a single bluegill was not cutting it. I went back to my regular stocked pond and played around with my Dragontail Kaida Tenkara rod. Started out a bit slow as I worked to find what was most effective to draw the bite. Soon, I was bringing them left and right.

Tenkara for Sunfish and Baby Bass
My regular stocked pond has been slammed over the Summer, and they don't stock it over that time, so there were no trout to be found on this trip. Thankfully, I brought along my Tenkara gear and decided to give it a go with all the baby bass I could see along the shoreline. Turned out to be pretty fun and even started things off with a surprise species.
