Fish When the Fishing is Good, Part 2
When the fish stocking kicks off, you have to take advantage. That usually means getting to the water before anyone and everyone else. The local ponds fill up fast in the most densely populated place in the state. But if you can get to the fish first, the fishing can be wonderful, and the sunrise usually makes for a nice perk.

This Basic, No Nonsense Rig WORKS! Part 2
The local waters get busy when the warm weather returns, and the fish get stressed. The best you can do is arrive early; hopefully, the fish will be well-rested, active, and hungry. I arrived just before sunrise and moved quickly to get a good spot; the effort paid off instantly.

Grinding in the Rain, Part 2
Finushed at Sego Prairie Pond, I finally found some fish. Turned into a cold, wet, long day, but catching some fish made it all worth it.

Spring Fishing Kicks Off, Part 2
Back at McDevitt Pond, looking to see what trout remain after the winter stocking hiatus is nearing its end. I knew I had to explore the pond in order to find where the fish had settled. Thankfully, I found them quite quickly. Turned out to be a great day.

Ice Fishing Season Conclusion, Part 2
I head to Sego Prairie Pond with my ice fishing gear for one last go. The sun kept me warm while the fishing was hot and cold throughout the day. In the end, I hooked into some good trout. I hadn't used my Dieselbait Eggs in a while, and the orange variety on a jig head turned out to be a winning combo.
