First Go at Improvised Ice Fishing
I wanted to try a new pond today; I just didn't expect it to be completely frozen over. Thankfully, there was a dock, that provided a small window of open water where I could cast in my line. I didn't pack my ice fishing rod, so I decided to make do with what I had. It turned out to be a pretty successful day, considering the challenges.

Cold, Windy, & Productive
Welcome to season 03! I start my 3rd year on YouTube with a respectable outing to a smaller stocked pond. With the freezing temperature and a wind chill cutting right through me to the bone, I wasn't sure what to expect. The day was productive with mostly good 12-13 inch trout and a single 9 incher. Thanks for joining me, and I'll see you on the next one.

If You Can Only Catch One…
I only caught a single trout on this trip, but it was probably the biggest one in the pond. With no other bites, I decided to wrap up the day by cleaning up the pond. This pond gets a lot of trash throughout the year from the baseball fields and the skate park by being across the street from a middle school and kitty-corner from a grocery store. The wind seems to gather trash from all around, and it gets caught in the vegetation around the pond. Our Parks & Recreation department does some cleanup, but I take a little time to clean up around the pond when things get really bad.

Barely Missing the Skunk
I will only catch a single fish numerous times throughout the year, thankfully avoiding the skunk. However, it doesn't provide enough content for a video, so I save them to make a compilation video at some point. The day has arrived. Enjoy!

Smaller Trout are Still Fun
I returned to Mariposa Pond to see if the fish were biting like they were the first time I fished here. Things started slowly, but by the end, I saw great success. It was an excellent fishing trip on a tiny but fun pond.
