Fishing in the Snow

Location: McDevitt Pond, Boise, Idaho

Bait: Powerbait Honeyworms & Eggs

Rig: Weighted Float with Jig Head and Powerbait Honey Worms on Telescopic Rods, Ice Fishing Rods & Pfleuger Spinning Reels.

Species: Rainbow Trout

Back at my local pond to see if I can catch stocked trout in the snow. Spoiler, I can, but it takes me a while to find out where the fish are hiding. Even after finding them, they are lethargic and timid, making it difficult to get a bite and set the hook well. It was a successful day, but it took some grinding.

Thanks for joining me on my fishing adventures. I hope to see you again next week.
