First Go at Improvised Ice Fishing
I wanted to try a new pond today; I just didn't expect it to be completely frozen over. Thankfully, there was a dock, that provided a small window of open water where I could cast in my line. I didn't pack my ice fishing rod, so I decided to make do with what I had. It turned out to be a pretty successful day, considering the challenges.
Cold, Windy, & Productive
Welcome to season 03! I start my 3rd year on YouTube with a respectable outing to a smaller stocked pond. With the freezing temperature and a wind chill cutting right through me to the bone, I wasn't sure what to expect. The day was productive with mostly good 12-13 inch trout and a single 9 incher.
