Friendly Fisherman

Location: Stocked pond

Bait: Powerbait Eggs

Rig: Bottom Rig (slip weight with floating bait).

Had a friendly fisherman near me at the pond today. Personally, I like to fish quietly. It's not so much about the fish hearing me or anything like that. I am just perfectly happy to sit in silence for hours, even when around other people. I don't want, like, or need chit-chat, small talk, or anything of the sort.

If someone is pleasant and wants to talk though I will not be rude and am happy to make their day a little better by engaging in the conversation to some degree. You never know what a kind interaction might mean for that person.

What are your thoughts on people who talk while fishing?
