Adventures
Box Canyon Springs Reserve
Box Canyon Springs is a gorgeous hike through a box canyon along the Snake River just southeast of Wendell, ID. This hike features crystal-clear spring water, waterfalls, and incredible views. On this trip, we take the out-and-back approach. We did not swim, but that will almost always be the case since hiking in wet clothes is not something we enjoy. We hope you enjoy coming along on this adventure with us, and hope you are able to enjoy some adventures of your own.
Cleo’s Ferry Museum & Nature Trail
During this adventure we explore a hidden gem of Idaho called Cleo’s Ferry Museum. It is a place we had heard about from time to time and we finally ended up nearby so we took the slight detour to explore. We never expected what we found.
China Ditch Trail
This adventure we hike a new trail, called China Ditch Trail, with the Hiking Idaho group. It was a big turnout with some folks, like us, experiencing this trail for the first time. Others, have hiked this trail often. It was incredible, even though spring hadn’t yet reached the area to green things up. The landscape was diverse, the hike was enjoyable and somewhat challenging at times, and the weather was mostly cooperative. A must-do hike in our opinion, and one we will return to in the future.
